Easter Weekend Update

Hey everyone! Hope you had a nice Easter weekend. I had a nice one. Sunday, I joined Kerry, Natalie and her grandmother, and a couple of her grandmother's friends, at a very old school San Diego haunt called Hob Nob Hill. It was a favorite with the... more mature crowd in San Diego. The old ladies there were fabulous. I noticed that every single one of them had fully done up makeup and hair, which I thought was adorable, and most had these fabulous vintage Chanel purses and Dior sunglasses. I need to start saving and collecting nice things now so I can be that fabulous in 30 years!

Otherwise, I attended the opening day of the Padres playing in Petco Park on Friday night. As always, I ate like a piglet, screamed like a maniac, and had a great time. On top of getting Chick Fil A on the way to the game, I also had two beers, half a Kosher National beef dog topped with nacho cheese, Padres super nachos (complete with chili and the works), and a slice of pizza. Serious indigestion, but it was SO worth it! And of course, the Padres LOST, because I was there. I am the Padres 'cooler', because I've been to probably 15 games, and they have won ZERO of those, where I attended. I'm grounding myself from Petco Park!

So has anyone heard of a Lee Middleton doll? Apparently they're a collectible doll that has very lifelike features. Anyway, apparently my nephew was out and about recently and a little girl and her father approached Finley and Shannon, wanting to hold and cuddle him. They were oohing and aahing over the beautiful Finley (I don't blame them), but it turns out they felt really connected to him because he looks like their Lee Middleton doll. Check out these two pictures. Is that so... crazy?!

In other news, Entourage is back on for the summer on HBO!! I love this show!! For those of you that aren't familiar, the premise is the rise of a young Hollywood star, Vincent Chase, who brings his brother and two best friends out from New York along for the ride. As they navigate the crazy, glittering world of L.A., they learn, see, and experience a lot. It's a well-written, exciting and fun show, loosely based on the experiences of the Executive Producer, Mark Wahlberg (feel the vibration!). I highly recommend checking it out if you haven't seen it - Sunday nights, 10 p.m. EST and PST, HBO.

And lastly, I'm going to meet some puppies over the next couple of days, and hope to add a new member to my family very shortly. I'm very excited!! I hope to have an announcement in the next week, so stay tuned!

Well, I hope all of you are doing great. Have a great week!

Love, Mer
