Beet Brownies?!

I always see beets at the farmers market, and never know what to do with them. I do now!! One of my friends on Facebook made up this recipe and posted photos with a review - looks fab! Do you dare?

Beet Brownies

2 medium local, organic beets
Ghirardelli dark chocolate brownie mix

Cayenne pepper

Cinnamon

Peel, steam and puree beats

Add to the brownie mix, substituting for water, oil and egg; stir well to combine

Sprinkle with cayenne and cinnamon to taste

Bake for regular amount of time, according to package and voila!
